Fitness Premier in Coal City welcomed by Grundy County Chamber
COAL CITY – The Grundy County Chamber and the Village of Coal City welcomed Fitness Premier with a ribbon cutting ceremony March 4 celebrating the fitness center’s grand opening.
Fitness Premier – Coal City is located at 995 E. Division Street, and is a full-service fitness and health club that specializes in group and personal training.
“We strive to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every member of the community to enjoy,” said Owner and Operator Brent Bergenson in a news release.
The fitness center offers state-of-the-art equipment and offers 24-hour access for members to all 12 of its area clubs. The staffed hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location was held with Grundy County Chamber of Commerce staff, Chamber Ambassadors, and village officials March 4. The club has been open about 2 months now and employs 7 people.
“Fitness Premier in Minooka has been a great and active member with us so we are just thrilled to have Fitness Premier in Coal City join us as well,” Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen said. “The staff of these clubs do a remarkable job of becoming a part of the community they are located in.”
The fitness center offers complimentary workout and nutrition consultation for its members as well as virtual classes, Live GroupX Class, a Hydromassage Lounge, FP Live and Kids Club to assist families with childcare while at the gym.
“We plan to be a staple in the Coal City area community and help numerous members reach their goals,” Bergenson said.
