Business Spotlight: Wyman Automotive in Minooka
MINOOKA – The Channahon Minooka Chamber welcomes Wyman Automotive, a new business in Minooka, to the Chamber.
The full-service automotive business is owned by Paul and Lisa Ellis and is located at 800 Rail Way Court
Minooka. The business opened about four months ago and employs five people with more than 50 years experience combined.
“Wyman Automotive is a full-service automotive repair business with 2 ASE Certified Master Automotive Technicians and a General Service Technician on staff, “ Paul Ellis said in a news release. “Anything from basic maintenance, like oil changes and tire rotations, to the most in-depth mechanical repairs, to complicated electrical and computer testing, troubleshooting and repair are within our capabilities. We also offer all name brand tires and alignment service.”
On July 31 the Chamber held a ceremonial ribbon cutting with Minooka Mayor Pat Brennan at the new automotive center.
“They Wyman team is very attentive. The facility is state of the art, clean, and welcoming. It’s our pleasure to have them as a member and as a part of our community,” Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen said.

They offer flexible payment options so customers can get needed repairs made to their vehicles within an affordable budget. These options include 3, 6 or 12 month payment plans and there is no interest charged on the 3 month plan. Applying takes just 30 seconds and there is no “hard pull” on their credit report, so it won’t affect credit scores. Convenience is key to clients so they also offer after hours drop-off and pick-up, local shuttle service to home or work, and discounted rates on rental vehicles.
