Business Spotlight: Designer Decks by M.J. Inc.

MORRIS – The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s recent Business Spotlight highlights Designer Decks by M.J. Inc.

The family-owned business is located in Morris and has six employees. The 30-year business specializes in custom deck building, fencing, gazebos, pergolas, and more. They also do home remodeling, commercial and residential snow removal.

“We’ve been innovating deck design and construction in the Will and Grundy County-area since 1988. Our professional crew of deck builders and construction staff are friendly, family-oriented and experienced builders. We work hard to transform your backyard into a relaxing space you’ll enjoy for many, many years,” Designer Decks President Jim Siegel said in a news release.

With a goal of continuing to grow in Grundy County, Designer Decks recently joined the Chamber and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held in May welcoming the business to the Chamber.

“Designer Decks already has a solid reputation in the community. As a member of the Chamber we are eager to help take the company to the next level in growth,” Christina Van Yperen, Chamber Executive Director said.
