All IL Regions enter Tier 3 restrictions Friday

Governor Pritzker has just announced all Illinois Regions enter Tier 3 restrictions starting Friday, Nov. 20. The restrictions are detailed at https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/restore-illinois-mitigation-plan. Each industry has different restrictions and employees that are able to work from home should. Some of these restrictions are listed at the bottom of this email.
Grundy County is located in Region 2. Grundy County’s current positivity rate is at 25.1%, according to the Grundy County Health Department. Morris Hospital currently has 38 patients being hospitalized for COVID-19.

Restriction guidelines for Tier 3:
Retail: Operate at no more than 25% capacity, including general merchandise stores, “big box” stores that offer groceries and pharmacy, and convenience stores
  • Grocery stores and pharmacies may operate at up to 50% capacity
Bar and restaurants are still closed to indoor seating and have to close at 11 p.m.
Meetings, social events and gatherings (including weddings, potlucks, etc.)
  • Limit in home gatherings to household members
  • Meeting rooms, banquet centers, private party rooms, private clubs and country clubs may not host gatherings
  • Funerals are limited to 10 family members of the decedents
Health & Fitness Centers: Operate at no more than 25% capacity
  • No indoor group classes
Group recreation: Pause all indoor group sporting and recreational activities including youth and adult recreational sports, individual training may remain (with facility reservation).
