Drip Drop Aesthetics now has 2 locations – Minooka & Diamond

DIAMOND – Drip Drop Aesthetics, a medspa first based in Minooka, has now opened its second location in Diamond inside Diamond Suites, 2290 Division St.

Drip Drop is a medspa, short for medical spa, that is a hybrid business combining elements of a traditional spa with medical treatments, said Manager Amanda Taylor in a news release. Both locations of Drip Drop offer a variety of non-surgical procedures that improve a client’s appearance, health and well-being.

“Our locations are overseen by our licensed healthcare professional nurse practitioner ensuring that medical-grade treatments are provided in a safe environment,” Taylor said. “We pride ourselves on not only the safety we prioritize, but also on working with our clients to make sure their experience meets their needs.”

The Minooka location at 841 S. Ridge Road and the new Diamond business are owned by Dione Valentino and Lynn Harvel. The original Drip Drop opened about two and a half years ago and both locations employ 15 individuals total.

The medspas specialize in Botox and Dermal fillers -help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and restore volume to the face; Chemical Peels – used to exfoliate and improve the appearance of the skin by addressing acne, pigmentation, and fine lines; Microdermabrasion -a skin resurfacing treatment that removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother and more youthful; IV Therapy – hydrates and delivers vitamins and nutrients to clients, often marketed as a way to boost energy or recovery; and Hormone Replacement Therapy -a  treatment used to supplement or replace hormones that the body is no longer producing at sufficient levels.

“Every treatment starts with a one-on-one consultation. We listen to your goals, assess your skin or wellness needs, and craft a plan that’s 100 percent tailored to you,” Taylor said.

The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Diamond Mayor Terry Kernc, the Drip Drop team, and Chamber Ambassadors celebrated the new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony April 4. To see a video of the ribbon cutting visit the Grundy Chamber’s Facebook page.
