Chamber Business Spotlight: Nexus Employment in Minooka

MINOOKA – The Channahon Minooka Chamber’s recent Business Spotlight highlights Nexus Employment Solutions Plus Inc., a local staffing agency that has been in business for 11 years.

The staffing agency, located at 524 Mondamin Street in Minooka, is owned by George Gorman and Bernadette Travaglini and staffs more than 70 employees, according to a news release.

“At Nexus we combine commitment, character and communication to connect employers with employees and employees with jobs that are more than just a good fit,” Gorman and Travaglini said in a news release. “We strive for greatness every day. The Channahon Minooka Chamber, a division of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry held a ribbon cutting last month with Nexus Employment and Mayor Pat Brennan to celebrate it recently joining the Chamber.

“A strong workforce is key to the success of our local economy and Nexus does a fine job of connecting employers with skilled employees,” Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen said.
